If your dog has a hard time with routine care such as nail trims, you’re not alone.

Dogs experiencing such fear often resist, struggle, growl, and even bite. Labeled as “difficult” or “high maintenance”, necessary care often gets put off or struggled through, leaving dog guardians feeling frustrated, guilty, and even hopeless

Fortunately, we can help our dogs feel better about nail trims and so that they become willing participants, leading to less stress for you and your dog!

FAQs

What if I can't attend live?

All the sessions will be recorded and set to all who register for the event. You will get the most out of the workshops if you attend live, as you’ll have the opportunity to train with us live, get feedback and work systematically to make progress with your dog. But I’m sure you’ll get some valuable tools from watching the replays if you can’t join us in the zoom room!

My dog is fine with nail trims, but struggles with other care

This program focuses on nail care, though the skills, training and strategies. These are useful skills to be learned for any dog guardian, and can be a stepping stone to improved cooperation for other routine care that our dogs need.

I’m in a different time zone, can I still attend?

Yes! The beauty of online dog training is that it doesn’t matter where you are in the world. I’ve helped dogs and their humans from Toronto, the US, Europe & beyond!

How are the private sessions scheduled?

These 2 sessions are booked at the beginning of the program after the 2nd and 4th week.

In person sessions at our training facility are possible if you are in or within travel distance of Prince Edward County.

If you are outside of this area, or if your dog is fearful or nervous of people or in new settings, your private session will be held virtually, so that we can focus on your dog's learning, without causing them unnecessary anxiety or fear.
